You can do the workouts in any order that you choose! However, if you are just getting started with exercise, this program helps you to build upon movements and exercises, so it would be recommended to follow in order.
Injuries are a pretty common factor when it comes to exercise as most people have some type of injury they have been battling. It is best to listen to your body and if something hurts, then don't do that. Also you have access to the Q&A's for the month, so you can ask about your specific injuries there.
It is never too late to get started on your fitness. I have had people start at 83 years old, and made huge changes in their ability to move.
